The first remix comes from Brighton based trio Killer Hertz, who work the original captivating vocal throughout the intro into a heavy dancefloor weapon. Simultaneously vibrant and dark, the juxtaposition creates an energy suited to any underground club or car radio. With plenty of the trio’s signature rustling basslines alongside the infectious riffs of Crissy Criss & WiDE AWAKE’s original, this remix is set to sit alongside the original as an essential DnB anthem.
Sammy Porter delivers an entirely different result with his house rendition, opening on an infectiously bouncy note before slowly revealing the original vocal. A much more leisurely bop, Sammy Porter has managed to successfully transform the original into a completely different sound while still capturing the energy of the original – certainly no easy feat!
The third remix comes from London electronic music veteran Wonder K who puts his signature funky spin on ‘Real’. High energy right from the start, Wonder K transforms the track into a catchy, effervescent house tune with incredible skill. Blending together a plethora of his own influences into Crissy Criss & WiDE AWAKE’s original, the end result is truly memorable.
Last but not least, the package offers an exclusive acoustic mix. Glistening piano melodies embrace the listener in what is a truly radiant rendition of ‘Real’.
